We recently heard about a need in our community and decided we had to step in and make a difference. There are families who struggle to keep up paying for their children’s breakfast and lunch each week. When they fall behind, their accounts end up having a balance, and the debt builds.
Across all 12 elementary schools in the Wentzville School District, children have unpaid lunch balances totaling $4,283. We want to pay off that debt, completely wiping it out before Easter. No kid should feel shame over lunch.
